Pricing Validation – CFI Visibility
• RO’s that are on hold in pricing validation are NOT visible on the CFI’s portal and a new order notification is not sent until the PV is resolved.
• If the PO was for a presale, and there is no change order or other information to aid with the validation, we use the contract data and any notes in IMS to cover as many SKU’s as possible.
• Jobs are typically on hold for 1-3 days in the validation queue and are worked constantly. The goal is to get the PV hold time to 24 hours or less.
• CFI’s who are not using the Sage change order process correctly make pricing validations after template virtually impossible.
• CFI’s who accidentally note or provide their fee amount needed as opposed to using the change order process (which provides stores with cost and retail) are likely to get a PO that is short paid.
