Approaching the B word with customers... • Instead of asking your customer what their budget is, ask them what kind of investment they are looking to make. • Your customer sought you out! You did not have to generate this lead. Assist the customer in creating their dream kitchen; you can always scale back the final choices to fit within the invest ment they are wanting to make. Listen & Advise • Is your customer a DIYer? Direct them to our Small Projects or Laminate Product Only Programs. Once in a lifetime sale! • On average, countertops are replaced 1.5 times in an individual’s lifetime. • Your customer may never have been through this process before. Arm them with the template and install checklists to ensure they know expectations at each appointment. • Have a goal of earning your customer’s recommendation to their friends and family. Build a relationship wth Sage and Fabricator Partners. • Avoid unnecessary delays by communicating with Sage Surfaces Support Specialists. Stay up to date on lead times and material situations.
